Slavery in the Gulf States, and Western Complicity
by Emmet Scott on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
Mr. Scott is the author of the book, Mohammed and Charlemagne Revisited: The History of a Controversy. Until 1963 it was still perfectly legal in Saudi Arabia to buy another human being at a slave-market, to use and abuse as one saw fit. That was 1963, the year in which the Beatles cut their first LP and which saw the assassination of President Kennedy.

Top Alt-Right Podcast About EU Migrant Crisis (Fash The Nation)
by Trent Holmgren on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
This is an excellent 10 minute weekly news summary called « The Europa Report » which is a regular segment in the world’s most listened to Alt-Right podcast, Fash the Nation. The report does a good job of quickly summarizing developments in Europe’s ongoing migrant crisis for the preceding week. It is a useful service, because this information does not appear in the mainstream media, and is scattered around the European alternative media in various languages.Information is presented from alt media sites like Breitbart London, Visegrad Post, Daily Stormer, Diversity Macht Frei, New Observer Online, Forza Nuova USA, among others.

Trump’s Opponents Seek to Cripple Him with ‘Russia Card’
by Jim Jatras on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
Departing presidents tend to fade from public consciousness surprisingly quickly once they leave office. Most at least have the good grace to assume a low profile on their way out to give their successors room to launch.

RT Jubilant After US Intel Report Gives It Tons of Free Publicity — Thanks CIA!
by Dean Parker on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
Last Friday the US Intel Community published a report on Russia’s alleged (and unsubstantiated) interference in US elections and gave RT more free advertising than it could ever buy itself.Almost one third of the 25-page report talks about RT. Its TV hosts feature as prominently as alleged Russian hackers and spooks. And RT could not be happier about it, in fact they’re running victory laps. Its report on the CIA hatchet job proudly highlighted RT was a prime target with the headline “RT stars in ODNI report on ‘Russian activities and intentions’ in U.S. presidential election”.

An Ode to John McCain
by Mike King on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
You know the public’s hatred of a particularly egregious public figure has reached white-hot intensity when citizen-bards start ridiculing him in verse. John McCain has achieved the nation’s highest honor. This bit of doggerel provides a surprisingly precise mini-biography of this miserable, blood-stained, murderous old man. There once was a cadet named John McCain,And his passing grades he did barely maintain

US Intel Report Answers the Crucial Question (of Why Russia Is just So Darn Big)
by Rob Slane on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
The recent 25-page report from the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Assessing Russian Activities in Recent US Elections, was billed as the US Intelligence Community’s evidence of Russian hacking of the US Elections. The easiest way of curing yourself of this notion is to go and read the thing (which you can do here), and as you do so, remind yourself that the agencies that put this together only get annual funding of a mere $80 billion per year from US taxpayers.

Top Trump Advisor Predicts Trump Will Be Looking to Roll Back ‘Disproportionate’ Russia Sanctions (Video)
by Dean Parker on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
Kellyanne Conway was Trump’s campaign manager and slated to become a senior White House adviser to President Trump after he is inaugurated in ten day’s time. Moreover she is also one of Trump’s most combative and public defenders — characteristics which Trump who is a brawler himself values.Unlike Republican machine creatures like Priebus she is backing Trump’s Russia course to the hilt, ridiciuling Democrats’ sudden urge for a bipartisan probe into Russia hacking allegation:

Obama Introduces New, Laughably Weak Russia Sanctions
by Dean Parker on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
The outgoing US president just introduced a yet another round of Russia sanctions. Sounds like a really big deal right? It sounds like Obama really is pulling no punches in trying to set the tone for US-Russia relations after he leaves.Except the sanctions consist of blacklisting five Russian officials said to be close to Putin. As many times before Obama lacks the resolve to really follow through even on things he believes in (and he clearly believes US should maintain poor relations with Putin). Also he does not have many good moves left to play as power is slipping away from his grasp with every tick of the clock.

As the Caliphate Retreats Syrian Rebels Are Being Bolstered by ISIS Defectors
by Adam Hill on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
As ISIS is being increasingly squeezed in Syria and Iraq growing numbers of its fighters want to get out.Their best bet is reaching Syrian rebel-held territory and from there on to Turkey.Financial Times reports the rebels have recognized this as a good business opportunity. They are now charging fees to fleeing ISIS fighters, or which is even more lucrative, sell them to their home countries when these want them back:Most rebels say smugglers charge between a few thousand dollars and $10,000 just to cross from an Isis area to rebel territory. It can cost another $10,000 or more to enter Turkey, they say.

America’s Aristocracy Is Terrified that Trump Will Up End Their World
by Eric Zuesse on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
On January 2nd, the U.S. Republican Party’s Wall Street Journal headlined «Tensions Within GOP Rise Over How to Handle Russia», and reported that the policy toward Russia by the incoming Republican President Donald Trump is being opposed not only by Democrats in the U.S. Congress, but also by some Republicans, and perhaps even by enough Republicans to jeopardize confirmation of his nominee for U.S. Secretary of State, as well as some nominees for other crucial diplomatic and military positions.

Russia Has Vast Untapped Energy Potential
by Stanislov Krapivnik on Tue, Jan 10, 2017
Stanislov Krapivnik is Director of Operations at OPKO Russian Market PartnersAs a market, when one uses energy and Russia in the same sentence, most people instantly think of gas and oil. Those in the know may also think nuclear power, of which Russia is one of the world’s top three manufacturers. However, exploring energy on a smaller scale, Russia has incredibly broad energy potential and high demand awaiting only proper market development coupled with local manufacturing. This has the potential to reap vast rewards for any Western company with the wisdom, commitment and foresight to work within this market.Let us look at three potential markets: localized solar energy, metallurgical electricity, and trash to electricity.
